Who we are Postland is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered at [FULL ADDRESS]. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. ## 2. What the service is Postland is an app for meeting up with friends at bars and venues: you say you are somewhere (a "check-in"), your friends see where you are and for how long, and you can message each other to get together. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. ## 3. Who can use Postland You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] years old. By signing up you confirm that you meet that age and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. ## 4. Your account You need a name, an email address and a unique username. We verify your email with a 6-digit code that is valid for 15 minutes. You can edit your details or delete your account at any time from within the app. ## 5. Location and privacy Your location is **only shared with your friends while you have an active check-in**. When the check-in expires or you end it, you stop being visible. You can turn location sharing off from your profile or from your operating system permissions. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy. ## 6. Rules of conduct You may not: impersonate someone else; harass, threaten, or share illegal or violent content or sexual content involving minors; scrape other users' data; or attempt to compromise the security of the service. We may suspend accounts that break these rules. ## 7. User content The messages, photos and check-ins you post remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store them and show them to the recipients you choose, for the sole purpose of providing the service. ## 8. Venues and third-party data Information about bars and venues comes from third-party providers such as Google Places. We do not guarantee that opening hours, addresses or photographs are accurate or up to date. ## 9. Availability and changes We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service. If we change these terms materially, we will let you know at least [NOTICE PERIOD] in advance inside the app. ## 10. Use common sense when sharing your location and when meeting other people. ## 11. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/JURISDICTION]. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of [CITY], without prejudice to the rights you have as a consumer. ## 12. Contact For any question about these terms, write to us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
